The Scottish Pomeranian Open Show is moving date and location this year! To coincide with August SKC, the show will be held on Sunday 28th August and will be held at the Corn Exchange, Haddington (EH41 3HA).
The judge for the day is Mrs P Charton (Vibrek) who writes the following:
Our family pet was a German Shepherd. I was given a Yorkshire Terrier when I was 10 years old, which went everywhere with me. I didn’t get the showing bug until the early 80s when I acquired a smooth coat Chihuahua bitch and had some success at local open shows but my heart belongs to Pomeranians.
In 1989 I bought my first Pom from Irene Ellis, Harene Diamond Seeker, then acquired my first birth Mardees Belle Starr. I mated Bellee and she produced me a lovely wolf sable puppy. I had a lot of enjoyment from my puppy, Marsh and my daughter did her first junior handling class at 3 years old with Marsh. It wasn’t until I bought Tyngeli In Blue Jeans, a lovely orange bitch, I mated to Abbeyleigh Jack Daniels, which produced for me Vibrek Solitaire who has won her Junior Warrant, 2 BIS, 2 RBIS, and RBIS and Best Bitch at the Pom show in 2011.
I am looking forward to my judging appointment, as I was for the Backweell Show last year and the Stockport Show the previous year. Showing my Pomeranians gives me great pleasure. I am honoured to be given this opportunity to judge this lovely breed and look forward to your entries.
The show opens at 10.30am, judging 11am. Microchipping will be available on the day.
